Abstract art is where I began. The literal beginning of my art journey and one that gave me the courage to play with paint, to explore shapes and hues and movement, and helped me learn the tools of the trade. This little painting is one that I’ve held on to for years because it’s the first of a small few that I was brave enough to share.
