This small duo was painted during the pandemic when painting was more than a creative outlet for me, but somewhere that I could put my feelings in a world that had suddenly become very isolated. Rather than fear of becoming sick, I focused on my passion and joy for life - for being healthy (I did eventually get the virus) , feeling loved, and counting my many blessings. Many of these small pieces were sent out into the world as gifts - or giveaways - to friends near and far. This one I held onto because it’s full of heart. A heart that, like the universe, can be every bit as mysterious as the cosmos themselves.
