Looking West
Looking West
In South Central Montana there’s a glorious and still wild valley that follows the Boulder River south from Big Timber down to the Northern border of Yellowstone National Park. Blue ribbon trout fishing draws fly fishing enthusiasts and bears. I lived in this spectacular place for a time, and it changed me. Grounded me. Called me back to myself. After decades in the corporate world chasing ‘the dream’, I was mentally and emotionally exhausted. This place reminded me that the dream isn’t “out there”, but is all around us. And also within us. If we only just slow down and pull over long enough to enjoy the view. This little landscape study is inspired by the view from my mountain cabin. A view I dream of one day returning to.
