I’m unapologetically in love with the deserts of the American Southwest. Several years ago, I had the good fortune of living in Palm Springs during the fall and winter months. It was everything you could hope for: glorious sunshine (not too hot!), cerulean pools, palm trees, and great art. I painted this color-popping little abstract during a workshop at the Desert Art Center. A strangely beautiful, bold painting that would look at home in any oasis.
