With soul-lifting colors, this tiny abstract is one of my earliest experiments with paint. Layers upon layers of glazing, dry-brushing, and feeling my way forward, I let this piece become what it wanted to be. The process instilled in me a sense of peace and hope. Something new and promising was in the air! We all need hope, sometimes in the form of a beautiful little painting to remind us that it’s always there, even if only just a flicker of light waiting to be seen and shared.
