At the Water's Edge (After E.S. Curtis)

$3,800.00

‘At the Water’s Edge’ is named after and inspired by an original photograph by E.S. Curtis (1910), one of many striking and memorable images he created during his illustrious career. I’ve attempted to recreate the scene - a modernist master copy, if you will - channeling a peaceful family gathered under a serene sky. Inviting and quiet in its magnitude, this painting is a journey of quiet contemplation, filled with a sense of wonder and respect for the vast beauty of the northern plains and the people who (still) call it home.
